Iron Mountain Jewelry is a one person glass studio in sunny (sweltering) Bulverde, TX, in the hill country just north of San Antonio. I'm a self-taught lampworker who works full-time in a hospital and only gets to play with hot moulten glass when I've been good (or when I can run fast enough to get away from my department). I would love to eventually take some classes, but until I can get enough time together in one spot I keep teaching myself through reading, looking at what's around me, and experimentation.
My beads are made primarily with limited edition and out of production glass, usually in the Bullseye, Vetrofond or Double Helix variety although I do sometimes work with Gaffer, Caliente, CIM, Lauscha and Effetre glass as well. The limited supply of the glass makes my beads quite unique and un-reproducable. All beads are properly kiln-annealed for lasting durability.
